An hour from Innsbruck, Alpbach is one of the most attractive villages in the Austrian Tyrol with its traditional overhanging eaves and balconies, set against the backdrop of the Gratlspitz peaks. Intermediates can enjoy a variety of tree-lined runs on the nearby Wiedersbergerhorn and the Inneralpbach and Reith slopes, all reached by a short bus ride from Alpbach. Enjoy 20 kms of cleared winter paths or join an excursion to Innsbruck or nearby Rattenberg. In the evening, sleigh rides to the ‘Rossmoos Inn’ for Glühwein are great fun and après-ski is informal and relaxing with popular haunts such as the ‘Jakober Bar’ and the ‘Postalm’.
