Exeter Travel - Ski - Austria - Obertauern
Fly from Exeter to Obertauern, where the whole family can learn to ski or improve their skills. |
With snow-sure high-altitude skiing, Obertauern is shrouded by the spectacular peaks of the Radstädter Tauern. Facing north and south, the main skiing areas have 26 interconnecting lifts allowing extensive skiing without the necessity of ski buses. With the added pleasure of being able to ski to or from the door of most hotels, you can practically fall out of your hotel onto the nursery slopes and the ski schools are conveniently situated directly beside the village. With 95 kms of piste all leading back to the village, it is ideal for all grades of skier. |
|
The ‘green’ circuit has wonderful open slopes to give the beginner and 2nd time skier confidence whilst the ‘pink’ circuit has a vast amount of blue and red runs. Off-piste possibilities plus challenging black runs will satisfy the most advanced skier.
The apres ski includes some fine restuarants, the usual off piste activities; toboganning, sleigh rides, snow shoeing and Salzburg is little more than an hours drive from Obertauern. Ski-kindergarten (3 - 6 year olds) with fully trained supervision. |
